About the Ash Borer Threat
The emerald ash borer (EAB) is an invasive species of beetle that is destroying ash trees across the United States. Already the EAB has destroyed an estimated 150-200 million ash trees, including millions here in the Midwest.
Ash Borer Prevention & Control
RYAN Lawn & Tree uses three different plant protection products to protect ash trees from EAB. When a tree is adequately protected or receives treatment early, the success rate is incredibly high. The idea is to treat the tree before larvae have had a chance to bore throughout the trunk. These treatments will help protect the tree for two years and will then need to be applied again.
