The RYAN difference

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

In 2010, one of our associates’ daughters was diagnosed with a brain tumor at just 11 months old. All of us here at RYAN wanted to help; that’s when we started to work with the St. Jude community in Kansas City.

Every year, we get together with our RYAN friends and family to attend the St. Jude Walk to End Childhood Cancer. We help raise awareness and funds to support children battling cancer, so one day no child will die from the disease again.

Saluting Branches

Saluting Branches provides top-tier tree care services to keep our veterans’ cemeteries safe and beautiful. Started in 2015, the organization hosts a day of service where volunteers, like us here at RYAN, gather to care for more than 30 national cemeteries across the country.

In one day of service, more than 1,400 volunteers from 300+ companies and organizations put in an estimated 11,200 hours. When it was time to go home, more than $1.4 million in arboriculture services were donated by arborists doing the work they love.

The Learning Club

The Learning Club of KCK is an organization that provides after-school and summer mentoring for high-risk students in Kansas City, KS. Meetings are held in high-poverty neighborhoods and are always accessible, even for students who lack transportation or parental support.

Every Monday for the past three years, RYAN associates have been giving up a couple of hours of their day to help these students unlock their potential through one-on-one tutoring and life skills development.

Cristo Rey

The Cristo Rey Network® consists of 32 Catholic high schools across the United States that serve low-income students.

All students take part in a work-study program that allows them to fund the majority of their education while gaining valuable, real-world experience. Here at RYAN, we happily contribute, giving students a strong college preparatory education and hands-on training in the workplace.

Salvation Army

For over a century, The Salvation Army has cared for Kansas City’s most vulnerable populations. Ryan Lawn & Tree proudly supports their mission through service and volunteerism.

GreenCare for Troops

Project EverGreen connects lawn care companies with opportunities to give back. Ryan Lawn & Tree supports its GreenCare for Troops program, offering free lawn care to families of active-duty service members.
